10:06am | With the needs of the holiday season upon us, the Long Beach Rescue Mission received a huge donation of meals and hygiene items on Friday evening to feed and assist the homeless and less fortunate.

Employees from Global Electronic Technology, Inc. (GET) delivered more than 60,000 meals to the non-profit organization that feeds the homeless breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year. The shipment triples the Long Beach Rescue Missions donations from last holiday season. The Rescue Mission is located at 1335 Pacific Avenue and will serve between 800-1,000 people this Christmas Day alone.

The donated goods were possible thanks to GET and Never Forgotten Foundation (NFF) founder Steven H. Bryson. For more information about the NFF, visit here.
