The first day of the two-day New Blues Festival V took place at El Dorado Park in Long Beach on Saturday featuring the Low Rider Band as the headliner. The Latin funk, and rhythm and blues band featured members of War, Howard Scott, Lee Oskar, B.B. Dickerson and Harold Brown who lives in Long Beach.
