2:30pm | The first night of Taste Of Downtown kicked off last night with two dozen downtown Long Beach restaurants bringing out their best sample items for diners to wander around and follow their noses. Check out some of the participating restaurants and their great food in the video above.
The event’s second night is tonight from 6:00pm-9:00pm along Pine Avenue. Tickets can be purchased individually or by the book at the parking lot across the street from Alegria Cocina Latina (the one next to the old Hooters location). Tickets cost $1 each or you can buy a book of 12 for $10. From old classics like Sky Room and Parker’s Lighthouse to new favorites like Congregation Ale House and Gaucho Grill – and everything in between – there’s sure to be something for every eater.
Similar to Belmont Shore’s Stroll & Savor, Taste of Downtown is held three times per year but only once along Pine Avenue. Click here for a list of the participating restaurants and the items they’re offering.
