Finally, Day 11 of the LB Post Treasure Hunt. OK, your work here is almost finished. It took a little hand-holding from us, but now you’ve got this. Surely you followed our Google advice, and of course you know you’re looking for a book now. And if you learned nothing else from your shower on Wednesday, you learned there’s a place by the Bay that should have a book that marks the end of your quest.

What book is it? OK, we’ve been holding your hand, but we’re not going to round first and try for second base. Use your RLS knowledge. OK, here’s a hint: You’re not looking for “The Master of Ballantrae: A Winter’s Tale.”

We’re also confident that you still have your Long Beach library card and being somewhat of a grown-up who’s not afraid to ask questions, you undoubtedly know that you could simply approach the librarian at the desk and ask for the book by its title. Be sure to pointedly mention the fact that you’re involved in the LB Post Treasure Hunt, as if that affords you some special treatment.

There will be five copies available, The Long Beach Post Treasure Hunt winner will be chosen from among the five people who check out the right book, grab a receipt, and take a picture with the book in front of the building and send the picture to [email protected]. The judges’ decision will be final.

Meanwhile, do you want to enjoy the rollicking feel-good terms and conditions of the contest, as written by our team of 40 lawyers locked in a room with 40 typewriters? Then, pull your chair up by the fireplace, put on some comfy slippers, and read them here. Don’t forget to note the part where they tell you there’s only one entrant allowed per household, and you have to be 18 or older to win.

If you want to sprint past all the leaders at the last minute, here are your past clues.
