They’re cute, furry and they aren’t afraid to tackle each other while trying to get to the ball first. And, no, we aren’t talking about the Patriots and Seahawks battling it out at the big game this weekend. The otters of the Aquarium of the Pacific will host their own Super Bowl of sorts this weekend.
The event, being held Sunday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM, will feature sprightly sea otters playing ball against one another, each trying to earn the title of champion.
The entire Aquarium, with its more than 11,000 inhabitants, will be open and cheering for their favorite competitors during the event.
Admission into the event is $14.95 after 3:00PM for patrons of all ages and free for aquarium members. Before 3:00PM, admission for adults is $28.95 and $14.95 for children ages 3 to 11. The aquarium is located at 100 Aquarium Way.
