bellavita

bellavitaLovers of life, lovers of surfing, lovers of family, a warm sun and the Italian coast have less than 24 hours to purchase tickets to the Long Beach screening of Bella Vita, an intimately-crafted documentary about one man’s exploration of his ancestral homeland. The screening will take place Wednesday, September 24 from 7:30PM to 9:00PM at AMC Marina Pacific in Long Beach.

Filmmaker Jason Baffa (Singlefin: Yellow, One Beach, and One California Day) follows Chris Del Moro, a surfer, artist and environmentalist, as he surfs the Mediterranean, rediscovers the moving power of family tradition and revels in an old-world-turned-modern surf lifestyle on the Italian coast. Del Moro’s re-experiencing of his once-frequently visited Italian homeland as an adult reminds the viewer of the deep importance of heritage, family and getting out and experiencing the world.

A stunning picture captured in 35MM, viewers will be inspired by the aquamarine waves, golden hour captures and heartwarming words spoken by Del Moro, his family and friends. Show your support for the often-unexpected beauty found through independent filmmaking, and reserve your ticket before the 22 remaining spots are nabbed.
