Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) announced its Summer and Music (SAM) 2015 free concert series lineup at a concert and media event yesterday evening—and it’s looking exciting.

In its seventh year, the DLBA’s SAM was voted OC Weekly’s “Best Music Festival” three times in a row for its display of local acts at outdoor venues, according to a release issued at the event.

The 2015 SAM schedule is as follows:

June 27 | 720° Pine
5:00PM to 10:00PM on Pine Avenue between Sixth and Seventh Streets
Pine will be dedicated to the aptly named 1980s Atari game and focus on all things skating. Live skateboarding stunts, art and beer will celebrate Long Beach’s deeply entrenched skateboarding and music culture.
Performers:
Tijuana Panthers
FMLY BND
Bella Novela
The Moderates

July 18 | Bicycle Drive-In: The Wizard of Oz
7:00PM to 10:00PM at Downtown Long Beach’s Promenade
The third annual Bicycle Drive-In will be held at the Promenade for the first time, with an outdoor presentation of The Wizard of Oz.
Performer: MOVE

August 1 | Twisted at the Pike
5:00PM to 11:00PM at The Pike at Rainbow Harbor
This carnival-centric event celebrates “talented freaks and creepy carny folk” with a concert, live music, belly dancing, strolling magicians, stilt walkers and more, according to the press release. The Pike’s Ferris wheel will be used as a backdrop to the music, beer garden, and events.
Performers:
Fartbarf
Mr. Elevator and the Brain Hotel
Rudy de Anda
Tennis System
Litronix
Better Heroes
DJ Bix
Sirena Serpentina

September 5 | Buskerfest
5:00PM to 11:00PM in the East Village (First Street between Linden and Elm Avenues)
The last concert of SAM will feature local and regional bands on four stages set up on flatbed trucks. According to the DLBA, the summer finale is often used as a launching pad for local musical artists.
