De La Soul may have upset a few press badge-clad photographers when one of the trio commanded they put their cameras down, but certainly had the rest of the crowd on their feet, hands in the air, throughout most of the set. The hip hop outfit recently released their first full-length album in over a decade last month.

Amelia Meath and Nicholas Sanborn of North Carolina indie pop duo Sylvan Esso let their addictive sound wash over an entranced audience of festival goers. It was as much a dance party as a reflective experience, with Sanborn creating nostalgic, thumping electronic melodies to support Meath’s soulful vocals and wild movements on stage.
