In anticipation of Hydrogen Jukebox, Long Beach Opera’s Outer Limits presentation at CRAFTED, San Pedro, a restored canning warehouse, the theatrical entity will be providing guests with a free screening of the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, at the Art Theatre on Saturday, April 18.

Featuring director Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson, take a “cinematic pilgrimage” of your own, mimosa-in-hand, while kicking back and watching this emblematic journey on a motorcycle, courtesy of Long Beach Opera. Follow Wyatt (Fonda) and Billy (Hopper) as they travel cross-country on their Harley’s in search of an alternative, truthful lifestyle.

Hydrogen Jukebox is Phillip Glass’ and Allen Ginsberg’s wild walk through the 1950s to the 1980s, showing America’s cultural landscape at the time of sex, drugs, rock & roll, eastern philosophy and politics. See the performance on May 30, June 6 or June 7.
