Music Tastes Good has officially announced its entire lineup for the three-day festival set to rock Long Beach Friday, September 23 through Saturday, September 25, in addition to its exclusive food experience—a foundational element of the festival relatively unknown to the throngs of fans excited to listen to the high quality jams.

In fact, some of Long Beach’s most well-known restaurants, including Robert Earl’s BBQ, Restauration, The Federal Bar, Pier 76, Primal Alchemy, Working Class Kitchen, Pie Bar, Sophy’s Fine Thai and Cambodian Cuisine and Roe Restaurant & Fish Market.

 

The food portion will kick off with a “Farm-to-Taste Experience” for participants—a so-described “epic farm-to-table dinner” that will take place on Saturday night, the second night of the three-day festival.

Three-day VIP and Saturday VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to enjoy the taste experience.

Specifically, the dinner will include a six-course meal, showcasing locally-sourced food prepared by six of the best chefs in Long Beach, each teaming up with a personally selected chef, as shown below:

  • Eddie Ruiz (Public Beer and Wine) & Michael Puglisi (Electric City Butcher)
  • Luis Navarro (Lola’s Mexican Cuisine) & Diego Isunza Kahlo ( Private Chef in Mexico City)
  • Arthur Gonzalez (Panxa Cocina) & Rahm Fama (Former host of Food Network’s “Meat and Potatoes”)
  • David MacLennan (James Republic) & Makoto Okuwa (Makoto)
  • Paul Buchanan (Primal Alchemy Catering) & David Coleman
  • Phillip Pretty (Restauration) & TBD

Tickets for the remainder of the event range from $120 for three days, a single-day, single stage ticket that Friday for $25, a single-day, four-stage ticket that Saturday for $75, a Saturday-only VIP ticket for $175 and a Sunday single-day ticket for $35. The VIP experience for the entire weekend is a whopping $240, including access to VIP-only areas, a swag bag and the farm-to-taste dinner being held Saturday.

Within our city limits, we hold the second largest port in the United States, and proudly claim a dynamic food, music and arts scene,” said organizer Josh Fischel in a statement. “It’s time for others to experience what us locals have always known. It’s time to allow our residents, once a year, the chance to see Downtown in a different light. MUSIC. TASTES. GOOD.”
