The Museum of Latin American Art’s (MOLAA) Annual Afro-Latino Festival will celebrate African Heritage in Latin America. On Sunday, February 8 from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, enjoy free admission to MOLAA’s galleries, while between noon and 4:00PM, guests can dive into face painting and art workshops, explore what craft vendors have to offer as well as enjoy live music and dance performances.

At 12:30PM there will be a children’s story time in the Screening Room, between 1:00PM and 4:00PM, performances will be held in the Robert Gumbiner Sculpture Garden including Matalache Danzas del Peru performance at 1:00PM and a dance by the Boogaloo Assassins at 3:00PM. Docent tours of the galleries will be held at 2:00PM.

The Museum of Latin American Art is located at 628 Alamitos Ave and is open Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11:00AM to 5:00PM and on Friday from 11:00AM to 9:00PM. Admission: $9.00 General/ $6.00 Students (w/ID) and seniors (65+) Members and kids under 12, Free. Free Admission every Sunday sponsored by Target.
