On 1/28/16 at 5:40PM | The world-renowned outdoor art festival, POW!WOW! will make its way back to Long Beach this summer to initiate a second round of walls to be painted throughout the city by internationally-acclaimed artists.
Other than a few returning sponsors and a tentative start date for early July, the POW! WOW! team is in the process of meeting with Long Beach property owners to lock in another solid selection of great walls to be used for the 2016 street art festival, according to POW! WOW! Long Beach organizer John Hall.
“Once that’s a wrap, we should be able to make some good headway on lining up artists for Long Beach, which would be the next major step in planning,” Hall told the Post.
Last year’s walls were painted by artists James Jean, the Low Bros, Nychos, Fafi, Cryptik, Hueman, Benjie Escobar, Madsteez, Tristan Eaton, Aaron DeLa Cruz, Push, Jeff Soto, Bumblebee and Long Beach local Jeff McMillan.
