The LaLas are back with a boisterous first show for 2015 at The Federal Bar in Long Beach on Friday, January 23 at 8:00PM. The burlesque dance troupe will be debuting several brand new acts that are sure you leave you with more than a few laughing-induced side cramps.
Erin Lamont, founder and choreographer of The LaLas, creates each piece as a visceral performance, a teasing, intelligently crafted, playful experience for each wide-eyed audience member. The LaLas have set fire to the stage with their high-class burlesque, their infectious audience participation and Lamont’s talent for choreography.
Lamont expressed in a June 2014 interview that her main goal is to “tease the audience and have them on the edge of their seats just to see a girl take her glove off.”
