With remarkable stealth, a film crew moved onto a street in Bluff Heights this morning, preparing for a multi-day shoot for the film adaptation of the TV show Veronica Mars, which starred Kristen Bell and aired from 2004 to 2007.

Bell is reprising her role as Veronica Mars, a student who moonlights as a detective under the tutelage of her detective father.

“We know it’s an inconvenience,” says Location Manager Caleb Duffy. “We’re doing everything we can to work quietly and considerately, and leave these residents with a good feeling.”

Other “Veronica Mars” locations include New York City, Boston, and Santa Monica. The Bluff Heights shoot will run through Saturday evening.
