Arts Council for Long Beach has created a brief survey for the creative community to share any cultural, creative, or artistic events taking place in the month of October. The local celebration of October as Arts and Humanities Month has now been rebranded as ‘GLOBAL: Greater Long Beach Arts Lab.’ The annual celebration has been a mainstay of Arts Council’s activities and, this year, they’re creating a month-long festival to promote Long Beach as a significant cultural destination.
Whether you’re a musician playing a gig, a community group hosting a creative activity for your members, a gallery, theater group, or venue hosting regular performances, you can benefit from participation in this marketing and branding campaign. Take the survey and share your scheduled events.
If your company offers sponsorships of local cultural events, you can participate too. Arts Council is actively seeking sponsor partners, who will benefit from aggressive local and regional marketing.
Also, if you haven’t done so already, be sure to sign up on the Arts Council’s new Arts and Culture Registry. By doing so, you’re strengthening its ability to advocate for the creative community.
