So Tuesday, April 7, is Teacher Appreciation Day, which fits nicely into this Teacher Appreciation Week, which just so happens to coincide with this being Teacher Appreciate Month. The point is, teachers, we appreciate you. And if we don’t say it enough, there are a lot of folks out there who would like to show you in the best, most meaningful way: discounts.

The retail giant offers a 20% discount, year-round, on qualifying purchases—good on ya, B&N—and during April, it will add additional deals for its Educator Appreciation Days which occurs every Saturday and Sunday. On Tuesday, May 7, Chick-fil-A will honor every teacher (that presents their valid school I.D.) with a free original Chick-fil-A sandwich or biscuit from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the 7681 Carson Blvd. location.

Chick-fil-A Long Beach Traffic Circle at 4401 Pacific Coast Hwy. is offering a free original chicken sandwich or chicken biscuit all week May 6-10 as a part of Hometown Heroes Appreciation Week.

Chipotle

Arby’s

Educators with a valid teacher or faculty ID on Tuesday will be given a free Arby’s sandwich at any Arby’s location. Arby’s in Long Beach is located at 3602 Atlantic Ave.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers

On Tuesday, teachers get a free Box Combo from 6 to 9 p.m. with a current school ID at the Lakewood location; 4634 Candlewood St. The Box Combo comes with four chicken fingers, fries and coleslaw, Cane’s Sauce, Texas toast and a regular drink.
