Dine LBC is kicking off the holiday season with a contest that celebrates, well, the one thing that gets us through the holidays, cocktails! All amateur bartenders are invited to submit an original hot or cold cocktail recipe that calls for holiday seasonal ingredients, as in pumpkin, cranberry, cinnamon spice, you name it.

Five finalists will be chosen to compete at the Dine LBC Cocktail Contest on Sunday, November 15 at The Sky Room’s Cielo rooftop lounge, atop the historic Breakers Building. The chosen few mixologists will create their submitted cocktail on site for a panel of discerning judges. The winning drink will be chosen based on creativity, holiday seasonal ingredients and flavor.

All recipe submissions must not have been previously published and must be received by midnight on Sunday, November 8.

The Grand Prize winner will receive two JetBlue Travel Certificates valid for anywhere JetBlue flies domestically (travel must be completed by March 31, 2016). The winner’s cocktail will also be made available at The Sky Room throughout the holiday season. The second place winner will receive a $150 The Sky Room gift card and third place winner will receive a $50 The Sky Room gift card.

The five finalists will be notified no later than Wednesday, November 11 if they will have the chance to compete. Dine LBC welcomes all U.S. residents over the age of 21 to compete.
