The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) announced Thursday that the 2015 Taste of Downtown series in the East Village Arts District, being held March 18 and 19, will include the anything-but-lite, utterly delectable fare of the following downtown restaurants.

A handful of local shops, Anneise, 1897LB, MAKE Collectives and Mona a la Moda, have partnered with the DLBA to give guests a free food ticket for every $10 spent at each establishment. Brushstrokes and Beverages will also be giving away a free painting session to attendees, with an hourly drawing for a free class at normally scheduled events. Big Bad Rooster will be providing live music if you’re not too full to bust a few moves.
Ticket Packages are available online here and can be picked up at the Will Call/Ticket Booth at events. Advanced tickets will be available until 2:00PM on March 18. Individual tickets will be sold day-of for $1 each. Unused tasting tickets are valid at future Taste of Downtown events, including the DLBA’s Pine Avenue event June 3 and 4 and their Waterfront event on August 26 and 27.
