Looking to give your kitchen a break this Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Fuego at Hotel Maya will offer a three-course, prix fixe holiday dinner menu for those who want to enjoy a holiday feast without having to do the cooking or the dishes.

“From our Hotel Maya family to yours, join us Christmas Eve or Christmas Day to celebrate the holidays,” said Kristi Allen, General Manager at Hotel Maya – a Doubletree by Hilton, in a statement. “After Christmas dinner, guests can spend time with family and friends on the patio with a holiday drink, relaxing at our tranquil waterfall or lounging near one of several fire pits throughout the property.”

The $50 meal will consist of a starter choice of Arugula and Kale Salad with strawberries, black berries, candied walnuts, bamboo, Spanish blue cheese and champagne vinaigrette; Ginger Lobster Bisque with Black Forest mushroom and Serrano cream Chantilly; Heirloom Beet Salad with butter lettuce, heirloom beets and roasted corn; or Butternut Squash with candied pepitas and cilantro guajillo vinaigrette.

Appetizers will be followed by entrees like Porcini Dusted Filet Mignon with charred prime filet mignon, truffled bordelaise, wild mushrooms, roasted fingerling potatoes, and Brussels sprouts; Braised Prime Short Rib “Pot Roast Style” with Brazilian braised, juniper berry port demi glaze, mascarpone basil polenta, and braised root vegetables; Loch Duarte Fillet of Salmon with mango ginger granola crusted, champagne-citrus reduction, cous cous, cranberry and kale salad; or Potato Lasagna with Yukon potato, spinach, forest mushrooms, asparagus, roasted red bell pepper, cauliflower, and red pepper coriander coulis.

Dessert, of course, will end the meal, with selections including spicy Cinnamon Pumpkin with Chantilly cream and Tahitian vanilla sauce, or Apple Pecan Caramel Cheese Cake with grand marnier Chantilly cream.

Guests will also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks. A live classical solo guitarist will also perform holiday favorites.

Fuego’s Christmas dinner, which will take place on December 24 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM and on December 25 from noon to 9:00PM, is $50 per person, plus gratuity. Reservations are strongly encouraged by calling 562-481-3910. Fuego is located at 700 Queensway Drive.
