Founded in 2008 by Taylor Nelson and Chris Livingston, LB Food Review is the expression of their dedication to the community spirit of Long Beach.  Taylor and Chris have become champions of the movement to discover and support the unique local restaurants and eateries in the Long Beach area.  It all started with the online publication – www.lbfoodreview.com – but it encompasses much more than just a website.  LB Food Review is about meeting the neighbors that share a passion for this city and what it has to offer, utilizing social networking to host gatherings at local favorites across the culinary and geographic landscape of Long Beach.  Whether they are awarding the Readers’ Choice for Best Breakfast, organizing a pub crawl in one of Long Beach’s distinct neighborhoods, or simply dropping in on a family-owned trattoria with 40 of their closest friends, LB Food Review aims to get the people of Long Beach to enjoy their city together.

The next opportunity to get together with LB Food Review will be at First Friday on Atlantic Avenue on Friday, March 5th.  Kicking off at 6:30PM with cocktail hour at Nino’s Italian Restaurant, the LB Food Review crew will then hitch the Big Red Bus up to The Factory to enjoy their selection of craft and microbrews and locally sourced goodies.   From there the Big Red Bus will be stopping at Roy Robbins Gifts and Stationery, giving riders a chance to explore the unique shops along Atlantic Avenue before checking out the local art scene at the EXPO.

As with all First Fridays, this event is free to attend.  The gentlemen from LB Food Review are excited to take in all that Atlantic Avenue has to offer and have the opportunity to meet more of the great people of Long Beach.  For more information about LB Food Review:
