Long Beach’s Downtown Market is returning to City Place starting this Friday, August 21, between 10:00AM and 3:00PM, the Long Beach Fresh Facebook Page and Website announced Wednesday.

The Market had previously been located at Third Street and Pacific Avenue. Now, the Market is accessible from Pine Avenue, Fourth Street, and Long Beach Boulevard, with the perks of two hour parking at the City Place parking garage, according to the website.

The website states that vendors such as The Lady Farmer and small food producers Tamai, Gaytan and Ha’s Apples will be on hand for eager shoppers.

The market is a nonprofit that participates in the Market Match grant program, helping low-income communities with public funding that involves matching their first $10 with an extra $10 for fresh fruits, nuts and veggies.
