The annual Naples Fest, presented by the Naples Island Business Association, will take place Thursday, August 24 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM, organizers announced.
The event will be located along Second Street and Naples Plaza from Campo Walk going east to Cordova Walk and tickets for the tastes may be purchased at various locations during the evening.
“Naples Fest connects businesses with the community in this annual ‘Taste of Naples’,” stated NIBA President Bob Lane. “It is a fun and festive evening that puts a spotlight on our member businesses.”
The following Naples Island restaurants will be offering samples from their menus: Chianina Steakhouse, KC Branaghan’s, Flavor of Punjab, Kihan, Komo’s Cocina, Michael’s on Naples, Michael’s Pizzeria, Naples Rib Company, Nico’s Restaurant, Russo’s Ristorante, The Small Cafe and Valentino’s Pizza.
Participating eateries will either set up tables in front of their businesses or in the Island Center parking lot in front of the Small Cafe, located at 5656 East Second Street.
There will also be tables representing Assemblyman Patrick O’Donnell, Councilwoman Suzie Price and the Naples Improvement Association’s CERT/Community Watch programs.
Other activities include a wine and beer garden at the Naples Island Car Wash with a performance by The Buzzy James Trio featuring Trish Burke throughout the evening.
The Long Beach Trolley, run by The Big Red Bus, will be giving free rides and face painting will be available for children of all ages.
