Participating restaurants will give a minimum of 10 percent in sales back to their nonprofit partner, including Michael’s on Naples who is partnered with Long Beach Ronald McDonald House, L’Opera with the Long Beach Women’s Shelter and EJ’s Pub in Bixby Knolls supporting Precious Lamb preschool for homeless children, to name just a few.

“Being able to dine out for many isn’t even an option,” founder Elizabeth Borsting said in a statement. “By hosting Pass the Plate during Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0, it’s an opportunity for people to help support the local community and the charities that are really making a difference in the lives of others. It’s about raising money and awareness in our community.”
