Get a taste of all that downtown has to offer with Taste of Long Beach, Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA)’s foodie-forward tasting series that’s back to fill this upcoming summer with plenty to grub on.

Dozens of downtown restaurants will offer up a taste of their signature menu items and drinks during three different two-day events, the first to be located in the East Village at 1st and Linden April 25 and 26, the second on Pine Avenue June 6 and 7, and the third at The Waterfront August 29 and 30. Each event will run from 6:00PM to 10:00PM.

Check out a list of the participating restaurants here.

As the first in the series the East Village event will feature mixology sessions by Padre, the Latin-themed restaurant known for its craft cocktails and mezcal selection. Padre is also the event’s beer sponsor. Guests can also expect live music by Bandidos De Amore and DJ Groovy Lu.

“Taste of Downtown is a great opportunity to highlight the variety of food offerings from Downtown, while simultaneously providing an entertaining way to explore the featured neighborhood hosting the event,” DLBA President & CEO Kraig Kojian said in a statement.

Admission is free, $1 tasting tickets can be purchased on the day of each event or in advance online (those who buy tickets online will be automatically entered to win tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific or the Queen Mary). Tickets purchased in 2018 will be honored at all of this year’s Taste of Downtown events.
