3:15pm | Parking spaces along 2nd Street in Belmont Shore will be free to all this Saturday, November 20th, thanks to the Verizon Wireless store in an effort to kick off the holiday season a little bit early.
All meters will be covered from 10:00am-7:00pm. This is the fourth time the Verizon store on the southside of 2nd Street has offered a free parking day, and the business will also be offering free food and drink, with free gifts and special deals from 9:00am-9:00pm.
More than 250 restaurants and businesses call 2nd Street home. It is one of the city’s busiest shopping districts, and figures to become even more crowded than usual as the busiest shopping season draws nearer.
The effort is also being supported by DirecTV, which is partnering with the Verizon store to offer special deals and same-day installation.
