This Saturday a free tax preparation workshop will be offered at CSULB’s College of Business Administration building. From 10AM to 3PM, there will also be low cost and free medical services, job preparation assistance, food and nutrition assistance, discount telephone service, low cost auto insurance, and free health screenings for glucose, blood pressure and body mass index.
Councilmember’s James Johnson and Patrick O’Donnell partnered with Jerome E. Horton to bring this event to local families for much needed assistance in this tax season. The free tax preparation assistance is for household incomes of less than $50,000. All family services are open to the public, but reservations are recommended.
Language assistance in English, Spanish and Chinese will also be provided.
