6:00am | Children Today, a community based organization that provides services to families and children experiencing homelessness in Long Beach, is having their 14th annual Holiday Cheer fundraiser on December 2 at 7:00pm. The funds raised directly support the programmatic needs of the organization, which include meals and educational material for children, amongst other valuable resources.
The annual benefit is Children’s Today’s most significant fundraiser. It contributes to their Playhouse Programs, which provide free, accredited child care to children experiencing homelessness. This program, which provides a safe and consistent environment, helps foster learning and growth through play and experiential activities.
The event will take place at the same location it occurred last year, Arco Towers. Not only will food be served, but the event includes a casino space, wine tasting area, sushi bar, and silent auction as well, amongst other activities.
