The Hilton Long Beach has launched a new outdoor attraction they’re calling, Dinner & Movie Nights, inviting anyone—hotel patrons and locals alike—to grab a bite and watch a movie from the top of the hotel’s new outdoor pool deck.

The event runs twice a week, through the rest of the summer, and costs $10. And that’s not even the best part. Not only can you watch the movie from their large, drive-in movie style inflatable screen while floating—reason enough to go, since these days, our sweat is sweating—but the Hilton, located Downtown, is also offering special dining experiences depending on which night you go.

Tuesdays are, naturally, Taco Tuesday. Street tacos—chicken, steak—and margaritas. Not just any margaritas, either, said Swietlana Cahill, Hilton’s general manager. No, Hilton bartenders have crafted a special selection ranging from your standard lime and strawberry, to watermelon, peach and mango. Blended or on the rocks, pick your poison, they range from $9 to $10. And another $10 buys you a plate of three street tacos.

Thursday’s fair includes burgers or hotdogs paired with potato chips, also $10. And if you’re lamenting that Thursday’s offerings might not be as exciting as Taco Tuesday, just remember there’s a fully-stocked bar on-site as well as complimentary popcorn.

In keeping with CDC guidelines, Hilton is only permitting 40 guests per event, which you’ll have to reserve online. Only 23 guests are allowed in the pool at one time and there will be staff on-site to supervise. There is a fair amount of seating available for guests, but you’re encouraged to bring your own blankets and pillows so you can sprawl on your own terms. And, in case you were wondering, the entire space is lined with astroturf that they wash daily.

Hilton just finished renovating the pool deck in June, it was a lengthy process with unforeseen complications, as renovations tend to be, but it’s stunning—especially at night. The space glows with romantic purple lighting inside the canopies and palm trees are wrapped in fairy lights. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get any pictures of that before this story went up—but you’ll just have to see for yourself.

The grand opening of Dinner & Movie Nights is Tuesday, Aug. 25. The first film shown will be “Oceans 8.” Hilton plans on running the event until Oct. 31, the rest of the film schedule will be announced later this month. Currently, the movies scheduled include:
