On October 31, more than 15 businesses will join forces to host Trick or Treat Broadway, a family-friendly daytime event on Broadway.

The party will start at noon with a costume parade that starts and ends at Tiny ecoUrbanite and last until 5:00PM, satisfying the sweet tooth of Long Beach souls with candy for all, and giving parents of small children the chance to enjoy the trick or treat process while the sun is still out.

“Trick or Treat Broadway Street is a fun, safe, daytime Halloween event,” said event spokesperson Audry Bachelder. “Our goal is to provide an alternative event for young parents and those with small children.”

Each business will be offering up candy to event participants, in addition to other events, such as costume contests at W Group Real Estate and Tiny ecoUrbanite, Sasha’s – Living with Style, and readings from a psychic—Dolores Cardelucci at Transformations.

And for those adults who fail to win the costume contest, have no fear: The Attic and Sasha’s – Living with Style will be distributing 15 percent off next purchase coupons and free appetizers for those of age—quite the consolation prize.

Broadway business participants include: Sasha’s – Living with Style, Tiny ecoUrbanite, Wine Crush, The Attic, W Group Real Estate, Piccolo’s Flowers, Olives, Babcock and Cooke, Spa Sidney, Transformations and E.J. Malloy’s Pub.
