Get in the holiday spirit and ring in the season with The Pike Outlets’ Holiday Kickoff tomorrow, November 18th, in their Main Plaza from 6-9 PM. Bring the whole family for an evening of live entertainment, meet & greets and photos with Santa, one of his elves and Frosty the Snowman, plus Santa’s Arrival parade and the lighting of their giant tree. The evening will kick off with a performance by MYART Showcase Troupe along with a children’s magic show, followed by Santa’s Arrival parade featuring Santa and his friends from the North Pole as well as the Cabrillo High School Drum Line. After Santa lights the giant tree in Main Plaza the excitement will continue with live music from The Sugarplums, winners of the 2020 Christmas Caroler Challenge, Southern California Brass Consortium, playing their most popular holiday arrangements, and culminating with Emerald Street Band, singing holiday songs with a modern twist. Holiday Kickoff has something for everyone and is sure to be a hit with both the little ones and adults.
Continue the festive fun at The Pike Outlets with Holi-Date Nights (Under the Lights). Grab someone special and some take-out from one of the many scrumptious restaurants at The Pike Outlets and head over to the Main Plaza every Thursday in December until Christmas, from 6-9 PM. Many of the restaurants at The Pike Outlets will also be offering special take-away discounts for Holi-Date Nights only. Cozy up at their special Holi-Date Night tables and dine under the lights and around they giant tree, while listening to live musical entertainment. On Thursday, December 2, Jackie Foster, an award-winning singer/songwriter, and finalist on The Voice, along with Brandon Diaz, will be performing a combination of holiday and non-holiday acoustical songs. Then on Thursday, December 9, Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band will entertain diners holiday style in the Main Plaza. The fun continues Thursday, December 16, with Ann Walsh and Grammy nominated Tom Zink performing holiday favorites. SoCal Brass will finish of the Holi-Date Night event series on Thursday, December 23, with their brass quartet performing a variety of holiday and non-holiday arrangements.
The holiday fun lasts throughout the season at The Pike Outlets. The kids will love a special morning of holiday merriment at Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 4, from 10-11:30 AM. Join Santa, Mrs. Claus, their best elf and Frosty the Snowman for meet and greets and photos at Island’s Fine Burgers and Drinks. A balloon artist, festive holiday crafts and of course breakfast, will round out the morning of holiday hoopla. Tickets are $10 for ages 12+, $5 for ages 2-11 and free for under 2 years. The annual Festival of Trees, a non-profit Christmas tree decorating contest is once again taking place at The Pike Outlets through December 31. Visit the Christmas tree display on Bay Street and vote for your festive favorite at ThePikeOutlets.com/festival-of-trees. The charity with the most votes will win a $1,000 donation from The Pike Outlets.
