After a year’s hiatus due to—let’s all say it together: COVID-19—POW! WOW! returned to Long Beach, bringing dazzling color to the city for the sixth year.

The weeklong celebration of art ends today, with the completion of murals and multimedia art on walls and along the waterfront in  Long Beach.

“Rise Play Repeat” was the theme this year for Long Beach’s participation in the international mural festival. Following are photographs of the muralists at work this week, along with a map that will help you find your way to the murals and art installations in the city.
