The Queen Mary’s second annual Chill celebration opened this past holiday weekend, unveiling its winter wonderland made of ice known as the Ice Kingdom. Thousands of 450lb blocks of ice were expertly carved by artisans from Harbin, China, the theme revolving around the holiday classic The Nutcracker.
Housed in the Queen’s Dome, the exhibit is kept intact by keeping the space chilled to 9°F.
