On a chilly, starry night on Daisy Avenue, high schoolers, city officials and local organizations lined up on the street to march their way down Christmas Tree Lane. Children lined the sidewalk, eagerly staring at the scene with their parents close behind, in anticipation of laying eyes on the deliverer of presents, Saint Nick himself.

Food, music, marching bands and cars. Oh, and Christmas lights. Lots of it.

It was an affair many Long Beach residents take part in, year-after-year, hosted by Councilmember Roberto Uranga. What’s more, the Post was there to soak up the festivities. Check out the sights of Saturday’s parade in the gallery below.
