11:30am | Tredway, Lumsdaine & Doyle, a Southern California-based law firm with an office in the World Trade Center in Long Beach, is celebrating 50 years in business this year. They marked this occasion earlier this month in Long Beach.
The most admirable part of 50th milestone is that each of their offices adopted a charity to show their support for the local community. For its celebration, the Long Beach office featured an exhibition showcasing artwork from clients of Arts & Services for the Disabled a local nonprofit. Attendees were invited to purchase the artwork with proceeds going directly back into Arts & Services for the Disabled’s programs. Additionally, the Long Beach office has adopted a family through the Salvation Army for the holidays in the past, and supports many other local organizations, including the East Long Beach Pony Baseball League, Long Beach Rotary, Long Beach St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and the Long Beach Sea Festival.
Perhaps the story here isn’t that the firm has been financially successful, but that the firm’s dedication to giving back to its various communities has allowed them to develop relationships that have kept them in business for 50 years.
