IN PICTURES: 2,000 kids tackle 1-mile fun run on marathon weekend

Kids as young as 5 got the chance to participate in Long Beach Marathon weekend during the 1-mile Aquarium of the Pacific Fun Run on Saturday.

The course runs around the Rainbow Lighthouse and the Marathon Run of Fame, with views of the Queen Mary. Kids ages 5 to 12 were divided up into groups by age and had 30 minutes to complete the run.
