Hotel Maya’s extensive, community-engaging celebration — “Year to Go Mayan” — continues with their announced movie line-up of the complimentary 13-week Mayan Movie Monday that will be inaugurated next Monday at the hotel’s restaurant, Fuego.
The list of Mayan-themed movies will be shown on a supersized television that stands nearly 20-feet tall with a screen that’s 12-feet high and 12-feet wide, framed in a copper structure that is accentuated by Mediterranean café-style string lighting and cloth canopies. The high-definition picture is visible throughout the indoor-outdoor restaurant for guests’ viewing pleasure.
This year’s list of films are:
- June 4: “2012”
- June 11: “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”
- June 18: “I am Legend”
- June 25: “Mystery of the Maya”
- July 2: “Attack of the Mayan Mummy”
