xmasbabes2If you’ve been fighting the holiday spirit, your chances at winning will likely diminish as you continue reading this piece. Babies… bundled… in stockings!

As has been the tradition for the past 50 years, the BirthCare Center at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach has begun to send newborn babies home in keepsake stockings. The Center just released photos of the first bundled babes and well, we couldn’t not share them with you.

“I feel blessed,” said Miriam Santa Olalla, mother to newborn baby girl, Camila, in a statement. “I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

xmasbabes3A tradition upheld as a way to welcome holiday babies into the world with a little festive cheer, the giant stockings are offered to babies born between December 23 and December 25.

The BirthCare Center at Miller Children’s provides compassionate quality healthcare for expectant mothers and delivers close to 6,000 babies every year. The Center offers a comprehensive program and is a leading high-risk perinatal program.
