Rainbow Lagoon Park will be transformed into a jazz oasis this weekend as the 30th annual Long Beach Jazz Festival begins Friday with three days of music, food and health awareness.
Organizers of the festival, Rainbow Promotions LLC—which also produces the Long Beach Bayou Festival and the new San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival—expect up to 20,000 guests to attend the three-day event.
“The vision of the Rainbow Promotions, LLC team has always been to create a jazz festival that offers a unique overall experience and the best in musical artistry and atmosphere,” organizers stated.
In addition to jazz performances, the festival will also include a jazz, health and wellness pavilion where guests’ “mind, body and soul will be attended to” with inspirational and expert wellness speakers, treatment centers, vendors and healthy food sampling stations. There will also be a second stage with music.
