DJ Dam-Funk will bring his boogie, modern soul and electro-funk sounds to Long Beach at the Long Beach Funk Fest, the festival announced Friday.
Dam-Funk has been added to the main stage, which already boasts big name funk acts like Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Katdelic, The Meters Experiecne featuring Leo Nocentelli, Brasil Baile Funk with Gisella, Funk Angels, Sea Funk Brass Band, Delta Nove and more.
Dam-Funk, who has produced tracks by Long Beach’s own Snoop Dogg, will take the stage at 6PM on September 1, followed by George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic at 7:30PM.
The Long Beach Funk Fest will take place after the two-day long Shoreline Jam on September 1. Passes for individual days of the Funk Fest and Shoreline Jam are available, as well as three-day passes and VIP passes.
