Long Beach plays host to a plethora of events throughout the year which bring in talent from all corners of the globe for events like the Long Beach Jazz Festival, Summer And Music concert series, Zombie Walk Long Beach, & Funk Fest, but it is not very often that you see a locally held festival showcasing local talent.

Sawtooth sets up to play a preview set at Fingerprints Records.

The Long Beach Folk Revival Festival aims to do just that, with over half of the 20+ musical acts scheduled being Long Beach locals including California Lions, Paperplanes, Sawtooth, Honey Whiskey Trio, Alyssandra Nighswonger, Dublin Public, Bearcoon, Blind John Pope, Pepperbox Lullaby, D.D. Wood, Taylor Crawford, LB Ukulele Club & The Big Black Rooster. While regional headliners Rose’s Pawn Shop & Frank Fairfield call Los Angeles home, Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag) & Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks, the Weirdos, Joe Strummer) are favorites in Long Beach and are just a taste of the great talent lined up for this event.
