Long Beach Symphony POPS! and vocalist Carmen Bradford will present a romantic performance on Valentine’s Day featuring songs by Ella Fitzgerald; George and Ira Gershwin; and Nelson Riddle.

According to a statement from the Long Beach Symphony, Bradford was discovered by Count Basie and has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Tony Bennett and countless other artists.

Michael Berkowitz, who has worked with Gloria Estefan, Linda Ronstadt and Ringo Starr, will conduct the program.

The Symphony will roll out a dance floor for those who wish to dance during songs like “Embraceable You,” “My Funny Valentine” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Patrons are invited to bring their own picnic dinner and drinks, or eat food delivered directly to their seats by various preferred caterers.

The show, which will take place at Long Beach Arena, located at 300 East Ocean Boulevard, will take place at 8:00PM, with doors opening at 6:30PM. Admission prices for the concert ranges from $20 to $145, and tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
