This Thursday, August 27, Chad Bishop is performing at the Federal Bar. Last week, he took some time to speak on camera with Culture Agent columnist Sander Roscoe Wolff. Bishop, a singer, songwriter and musician, talks about his childhood in Alabama, working in the Hip Hop club scene, studying music production at Long Beach City College (LBCC), and connecting with his two main bands: In Contempt and The Master Plan. He also talks about connecting and collaborating with many local artists, including Dave Williams, Shy But Fly, and Jimmy Roberts.

Bishop is performing at the Federal Bar Thursday evening, located at 102 Pine Avenue in Downtown Long Beach, on a bill that includes J Ross Parrelli, Tony Ozier, Quinto Sol, Voltronne Soul, and DJ Abel. Tickets are $11 at the door before 10:30PM, and $13 after.
