When a new business opens, it’s a breath of fresh air for the neighborhood. I live four blocks away from this week’s feature, Dirty Pepperoni, and have been eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Directly across the street is Carmen’s Cafe, which has been under construction for at least the last year and a half.
The business that formerly occupied the Dirty Pepperoni space was Waters Edge Winery, which had good happy hour deals but closed in September 2024.
I hope Dirty Pepperoni is here to stay. Judging by their pizza, which I had on Saturday, they’re off to an impeccable start.
