These are tough times for restaurants, as we highlighted this week: a wine bar/restaurant returning from a pandemic-related closure and a family-owned neighborhood stable fighting to remain open after 29 years.
We’re all feeling the effects of rising food costs, but please remember to eat local when you can.
Here’s a bright spot: After years of declining foot traffic, The Promenade in downtown Long Beach was a vibrant scene last Saturday for the city’s first event allowing public alcohol consumption.
