Yesterday marked the 19th annual Belmont Shore Car show. The entire street in Belmont Shore was shut down from sunrise until 5:30. Hundreds of classic cars and thousands of classic people.
I saw everything from locals eating lunch watching the car show in all its glory, to out-of-towners enjoying their first visit to the shore. A great day to get out on the town, fight for a parking spot and get some exercise while viewing some of the sexiest cars known to man. Plus you get to jay walk like a New Yorker! It felt so nice to jaywalk without being worried about cars, or that roving police officer that everyone in Belmont Shore has been looking around for. One day out of the year you can walk through the street on a red light.
