Written & directed by Matthew Aveiro, Jen In The Painting will push your emotions off the edge and leave you there. The short film premiered last week at the Art Theatre on 4th Street.
Stranded and wondering how you got there… sitting in my seat I wondered which character I portrayed best. Watch it for yourself and you’ll see what I mean. The film stars Paige Stark, Nicole Pietrini and Pete Chekvala. A few of my friends are in the film as well as small parts and extras… as well as a cameo by director Matthew Aveiro and producer Vern Moen. The whole Cold War Kids band is in the film at some point or another and also I spotted Crystal Morgan a few times. Paintings were amazing too… by Melinda Moen.
Overall, I loved the film, a true work of art. I’ll keep you posted where you can see it.
