Long Beach Greek Festival is celebrating its 70th year.
The sixth annual Love Long Beach Festival at Shoreline Park brought crowds to enjoy food, music and meditation.
After serving the community of Los Angeles for over a decade, the 13th annual LA Wine Fest will make its debut Long Beach on June 1 and 2.
BBQ extravaganza featuring live entertainment from local bands, a smokin’ food court, cantinas, arts and crafts. Fiery chicken, pulled pork, tri-tip, pork ribs, sausages and sides Award-winning national BBQ pitmasters will make their way to the festival to battle it out against local barbecue gurus for a grand title for the Best BBQ and a People’s Choice Favorite.

Local artist and activist Micaela Salatino is part of The Friendship Neighborhood, which is hosting Friend Fest at Drake Park this Saturday. The gathering is a family-friendly event to help strengthen connections between neighbors.
September is slowly–but most definitely surely–becoming Long Beach’s month of film, as the Long Beach Cinematheque and local electronic music group Toaster Music have paired up to launch the Guts & Bolts Short Film Festival in conjunction with the Cinematheque’s upcoming Zombie Walk.
