An R&B-focused festival is headed to Long Beach’s waterfront this June, Goldenvoice announced Wednesday.
It began as “an excuse” for Jasper Wong to “bring his friends together and paint” in his native Hawaii years ago. Now, the three-year-old Pow! Wow! School of Music is expanding to Long Beach, along with some seven other cities, after stints across the globe and at SXSW.
