The Queen Mary will host an inaugural summer event series with a night market, movie nights, music, and food and drink parties.

The festivities will kick off Friday, May 3, with “Margaritas on the Mary” from 1 to 4 p.m., with $3 tacos, margaritas and music by the Banana Bunch.

The historic ship will also host a monthly night market beginning Thursday, May 9, with local chefs, food trucks, pop-up shops, a beer garden and live music. (Vendors interested in participating can email [email protected].)

A monthly movie night from 6 to 10 p.m. will begin May 15 with “Coco,” followed by “Barbie” on June 12, “Little Giants” on July 17, “Wakanda Forever” on Aug. 21 and “Wonka” on Sept. 18. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blankets and snacks, or upgrade to the “date night package” for $79, which includes a bottle of champagne, assorted snacks and reserved couch seating.

Beginning Wednesday, May 1, the ship will also have extended hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for guests to enjoy various tours and exhibits, including the Haunted Encounters Tour.

The ship also hosts a weekly happy hour on Tuesdays with live music; dance lessons and sing-alongs during Karaoke Wednesdays; KJAZZ Night on Thursdays and Sunday live music.
