There is always a need for blood, but that need rises during the holidays as people are traveling more and, sadly, that inevitably leads to more accidents. Add to this, the fact that we’re experiencing a stretch of bad weather—more accidents, more medical emergencies—and the need rises even more.
To round out this season of giving, head over to the Long Beach Towne Center and give a truly precious gift at the Red Cross Blood Drive. The Bloodmobile will be parked near the Towne Center’s parking lot near TGI Fridays and will be accepting blood donations from 12 p.m to 6 p.m.
